Each fishery presents unique challenges and opportunities; rather than attempting to change the behavior of the fishermen to fit our system we customize our system to fit the needs of each artisanal fleet we work with.

All projects begin with an implementation plan, project budget, and a detailed scope of work document that has been designed to address the fishery fleet size, dock configuration, sustainability criteria, geospacial restrictions, reporting requirements, landing site access to electricity and communications, as well as the supply chain logistics after the product is harvested.

Traditionally, all operating costs for the system are included in the budget for a pilot period of three months to a year.

After the successful completion of the pilot period the system will transition to long term production use where the operating costs will be covered by an agreed upon fee per kilogram of seafood that is handled by the system.
